Goa tourist Minister- Manohar Ajgaonkar announced on July 1st that the beach destination will reopen for domestic tourists from July 15th. Only 250 hotels are allowed to resume the services, following the SOP's imposed by the government.
Hotels should be prebooked by the tourists and the hotels which are not registered by the department to reopen for business won’t be permitted to offer online bookings.
Manohar Ajgaonkar allows only domestic travellers to enter goa from July 2nd with some restrictions:-
1) It's compulsory to carry a COVID-19 negative certificate within a determinate 48 hours. If you don't do that then you can
get yourself tested in Goa itself.
2) Tourists should be tested in their pre-booked hotels only.
3) They have to wait in their hotel until the result is out.
4) Tourists who get positive can either stay in goa for the treatment or can return back to their respective state.
5) Tourists must pre-book the hotels which are approved by the tourism department.
6) Those who will book their stay in a non- registered hotel or guesthouse won't be permitted. It will be considered illegal.
