Great news for all the mountains lovers that Uttarakhand is finally open for all the tourist but with some
restrictions at inter-district and inter-state level. The government imposes some rules for the tourist so
that they can easily enjoy and be safe also, outside the containment zone hotels and homestays have
already started their business with some rules. If you are planning to have an amazing trip you should
be aware of some rules :
1) You have to upload a COVID-19 test Report on Dehradun smart city web portal before visiting
Uttarakhand.
2) The medical reports will be verified by the district authorities of the visitors.
3) As you reach the hotel, you have to submit a RT-PCR report, not prior to than 72 hours, reflecting
COVID-19 negative, from an authorized lab.
4) For an international tourist, an undergo period of seven days at government institution and seven days
of home quarantine is compulsory. Also, they have to resigned themselves on the aforementioned website.
5) The tourist who are from India only, are not required to be quarantined, they just have to register themselves
on the web portal before their journey.
6) Minimum booking of seven days is compulsory for every traveller.
7) Liquor will be served in the rooms but the bar of the hotels will be closed.
